Timeline not updating
V2.84. Refreshing the timeline is very hit & miss. Often the refresh will just hang and nothing will happen. Kill plume does nothing to resolve this. I have to go to the Application menu, clear the cache & force close plume. I'm also not seeing some tweets I make in the normal timeline, but they do show up in my profile area.
Every update recently has made new problems, Plume is getting to be unreliable & untrustworthy.

I'm still having the same issue on the lasted update that was supposed to fix the timeline not updating issue.

Hi,
Can you made this to test your livestream mode ?
Enable it on the settings, choose World in Trends and then one of the first Hashtag.
If your update is ok you must see green dot on top and then the New Items should increase itself.
Try this if you can with WiFi connection and 3G.
I'll forward you logcat to our developpers.

I did the test and the trends work fine its the timeline that has the issue. Once the app was updated it worked fine but after awhile it just hangs and says no new tweets. Here's a logcat I hope this helps.

@Leflou: might it be a good idea to merge the various subsequent threads complaining of the same thing with this longstanding one a much longer list of people still having this problem might make you take it seriously enough to make a proper go at fixing it..
I have the latest version of Plume, my timeline is not only still not updating properly but it is also merging my mentions and timeline within my timeline column.
I've sent you plenty of logs showing this error. You keep promising it is fixed,you're always wrong

Tried the test and livestream seems to work,
Lost 3 hrs of my timeling though :( Is this a common issue now?
I love plume, but can't lose timeline like this.

Too many versions with this bug. Sorry, I'm going to competition. When this error fixed I'll install it, I like too.
Advice from a developer:
- I do not understand why mentions or DM is updated before TL - Although the TL says "updating", it does not exist network traffic - Error happens more often when I have the music player open (can affect third party applications?)

Hi,
A new update should be available in few hours on Google Play. It should fix different issues including Timeline.
If you are still experiencing problem after update, thanks for sending us a logcat, device specificaition.

Hi, just to let you know that even after the latest update, the timeline still says "no new tweets". It worked for a short while and it works when I clear the cache. I don't have time right now to investigate more closely but as this has been an issue for months, I'm sure you must have all necessary info by now.
