Widget "View in Plume" doesn't work

When I choose a tweet from the scrollable widget and select "View in Plume," it does not open the timeline in plume to the tweet I selected. Instead it just loads the top of the timeline. When opening from a specific tweet in the widget, it should scroll straight to that tweet in the main app.

    Hi,

I will ask to the dev if he can do this. I'm not sure it's possible cause to the android scrolling list that doesn't have a lot of advanced feature.

    Thanks for the report.

Any plans to ever fix this? I'd switched to Android Pro Widgets for my twitter widget, and used their "integrate with plume" option. Ironically, they figured out how to make it work with your app when you guys can't get it to work with your own widget. But the latest Plume upgrade broke Android Pro Widgets' integration with Plume, so I tried switching back to your own widget for now. I'm surprised you still haven't managed to get this feature to work.

    Hi,

Check in your settings (General) that you Uncheck the Tweetmarker Position. This way, when you use the option "View in Plume" from your widget, you will Open the Plume Application and it will display the Tweet on the top of your list.

    Hope it helps

This doesn't work. It does not open the selected tweet with or without that

    It does work for me.
I never used the widget but I tested it and "View in Plume" takes me to the tweet I tapped and shows it on the timeline.

It definitely does not work here. Did you scroll down in the widget list
and pick a tweet that you know want on screen last time you were in the
app? I uninstalled plume, removed the data directory for plume in my sd
card, and reinstalled plume. I then only authenticated to Twitter and added
the widget. I didn't change any settings. Still broken.

I'm using an Evo with gingerbread, adw launcher, 4x4 widget with scrolling

@Brian: After you re install, uncheck your TweetMarker Position and see what happen.

Have you try to create a widget without enable the scrolling option and see if it change anything ?

    Thanks

@Brian, I t hink i know what you mean now!

My timeline was at the top, my widget was on my homescreen.

Then, I updated the widget manually, new tweets arrived. I selected the top tweet in the widget and used "View in Plume".
I took me to the wrong tweet in the timeline that was on top the last time! I had to scroll up to see the tweet I actually clicked in the widget.

And indeed, after multiiple "View in Plume" clicks from the widget, sometimes it just shows the top of the timeline and not the correct tweet, especially after scrolling in the widget.

So it's not 100% working like it should.
