Predictive text / spell check – will we ever see it again?
Long-time paid user of Plume, however since my phone (HTC Sensation) updated to Ice Cream Sandwich (4.03), there's never been predictive text nor spell check. Why? Quite frustrating and hope this simple basic feature can be reintroduced.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
It's a known bug coming from HTC. The developpers can't do anything about that. So at this day, there's only two solutions:
Sorry for the inconvenience

what's the issue with HTC that blocking it? I have the droid incredible 4g and it doesn't work either... I'll go yell at HTC but I'd like to give them some details to the cause if I could...

The developpers don't know what is the issue with the HTC Keyboard. The only information that they have is that the auto completion is no longer available since the anrdoid's update (ICS and +).
So the only way is to use another keyboard

I did yell at HTC - they said it was a developer problem. Can you two go to dinner, order a nice bottle of wine and fix this?

@ Amanda We really like to, but i'm not sure a bottle of Wine will fix this. But if you want, you can share our developer's test sdk with the HTC Keyboard that show we canno't fix this issue alone.

These are not acceptable answers. None of the other Twitter apps have this problem, so somehow the other developers have been able to work around it. Seems like developers should be working within the parameters of the operating system, not the other way around. I seriously doubt HTC is going to make a change based upon the non-functionality of one app.
