Position on Google Maps not shown for geotagged tweets?
When I select open GeoMap for a geotagged tweet in Google Maps, the location of the tweet isn't shown, just the Google Map. When I view the embedded map for a geotagged tweet, the position is shown correctly. A small bug? I'm using a AT&T Galaxy Note.

Hi,
To use the geotagged tweet, you have to activate the option on Plume but also on the Twitter website.

I have geolocation activated on the Twitter web site as well as the app. I have no problem with the official Twitter for Android app in viewing maps for geotagged tweets, as that does show the location.
Also, the small embedded map for geotagged tweets in Plume is marking location correctly, but tapping that to view the fullscreen map is where the location is not being shown. The map appears with the approximate location centered, just nothing there marking the actual position on the large map.

Hi,
When tapping the embedded map, it load your default map. That's perhaps there's a little difference between the embedded map and the one you open in full screen.
What is the map application that you are using ?

Hi,
Depending on where you are (and how your phone is getting the informations from the satellites), the geolocation can show a difference of position from 200m to 5 000m (in town, usually it's from 0 to 500 meters max).
So if you have a little difference, it's not a bug but it's link from the way your phone is getting the position information.

It's not a problem showing a difference, the problem is that the actual
location is not being shown on Google Maps like it's shown on the small

It seems that Google map update their application. Our developpers are looking to see if there's a way to fix it.

Geotag was working properly (for me) until a week ago, but now, it simply not working anymore, I don't know if there is an issue with Plume after last update, or with Google Maps after its last update, or maybe even Plume with twitter. But geotag simply doesn't work anymore, unless your tweet comes from Foursquare app or equivalent.
By the way, I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S 2 with Android 4.0 ICS and Plume Premium 4.71 (47101).

Can you please check that you have check the Geolocalion box on your Twitter account ?
