Hello,

I purchased BW from the Android Market, and the icon is there among my aps now, and I can go into the app and adjust the settings, but the actual widget is nowhere to be seen, and doesn't seem to have downloaded.

I DID check that the payment was processed successfully, and it was. It's right there, successfully bought and paid for in my Google Checkout list of transactions. All clear.

Any other ideas as to what to do?

Thanks.

D

    Hi,

First, you can try to open the market, click on downloads and long click on the download/installation that fail. Click then to "cancel" to the pop up window.

Else, you can try to clear the Android Market cache :
Can you try to go to your phone settings, applications, manage applications, in the third tab, find the Android Market in the list, tap on it to display the details. Then force close it and clear its data and cache. Then try the download again.

    Hope it helps!

I purchased the app....but when I try to download, the download icon only appears a few seconds and then stops. I have no Icon, or any sign of the app. I killed the task killer, cleared the market cache and tried everything I've seen on here for getting it to work, but no luck so far.

    Hi,
Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant. Plenty of memory, firmware 2.1 As mentioned, I did the things in the first post. I also later tried downloading the Free weather version with no luck. These are the first apps, I havn't been able to download, for some reason.

You have to check in your google checkout account if the payment pass through.

I also just bought the Beautiful Widgets but the skins won't load. Tried the suggestion of clearing the cache and data, also did the uninstall/reinstall thing and that didn't work either.

I tried to download a different skin but neither one of them will load on the home screen after hitting "apply".

I'm new to this whole smartphone thing.

I figured mine out last night. I wasn't sure how it was supposed to load onto this Droid X2. I didn't understand that you had to pick whichever pane you wanted to put it on first and then tell it to apply. Once I figured that out it loaded fine.

Like I said, this is my first phone that is this technical. There's many, many other things I haven't figured out yet either.
