Alarm/Clock app not launching on LG Revolution

I am having an annoying problem with the Alarm clock on my LG Revolution. It launches fine as a standalone app (pressing the icon), but it absolutely will not launch by pressing the time on a widget (Beautiful Home or Beautiful Super Clock).

It doesn't matter whether this is done from the stock launcher or through Launcher Pro, it always crashes and gives the message "Sorry! The application Alarm/Clock (process com.lge.clock) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

Truthfully, this seems to be more of a peculiarity of the Revo than BW. I say this because I get the same crash when using other time/weather widgets. I'm just looking for some help.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Have you try to change the alarm clock in the "application to launch from time" in Beautiful Widgets?

Have I set it up to launch the alarm clock from time? Sure. I had been using BW for a long time on my previous phone (a Droid).

The super clock widget is trying to launch the alarm clock, but the alarm clock is crashing every time. Just for giggles, I changed the app that time launches to Kindle, and it launched just fine. When I go back having it launch the alarm clock, it give the crash message in my original post.

    I'm stumped.

    Hello,

I would like to see the error logs in order to have a look on what is wrong. Please download aLogCat from the Android Market, it is a free application.

Then try to reproduce the error/Force Close and right after that, use aLogCat and send me the error log.

So, my alarm clock could launch perfectly fine from beautiful widgets, but then one day i stupidly switch the time to open another application and now i really want to change it back, but I can't seem to find an application called 'alarm', or 'com.lge.clock' for that matter. Anyone could kindly advise me?

I am having the same problem as Danny. It doesn't matter whether this is done from the stock launcher or through Launcher Pro, or Go Launcher EX, it always crashes and gives the message "Sorry! The application Alarm/Clock (process com.lge.clock) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." I am using LG Esteem. On my old Admire worked like a charm.
