Hi,
Have you tried with a SuperClock Widget ? (4x1, 4x2, 4x3 or 5x2)

My Problem with widget is solved, show correctly.
After reboot.

left is 4.0, right is 2.1
even if that was fine, it's still not a solution to my original problem, is it?

Hi,
Between old android system's and ICS (and Jelly Bean), Google change their margin rules. The developpers had already made different fix about that but they canno't override those new margin rules (around the widgets that are displaying). That's why there's a difference.

This is with Apex Launcher also on 4.0.3
It's fine, your argument is invalid.
If you have no intention of fixing it you can give me a refund.

The developpers can't fix for now. They are working on a brand new version of Beautiful Widgets.
That does not mean that they will never have a look on those margin things in the future.
And Beautiful Widget is Design to work on native launcher (if you are using a custom one and the developper of this launcher make changes that affect our application, Beautiful Widgets team may not be able to fix them as they don't have access to this application)
Regards

With Go Launcher EX no problem with BW-widgets.
13 Posted by David on 07 Aug, 2012 05:47 PM
You think I'm using a custom launcher? I'm using the Sense one.
It works fine with everything except the Sense 4 one, Sense 3.6 on ICS is fine, and this only affects Beautiful Widgets.
14 Posted by Jorodan on 07 Aug, 2012 05:55 PM
Since the 4th version, Sense is based on the ICS Launcher. In this Launcher Google decided to add margin on all widgets.
We can do nothing.
I am sorry.
15 Posted by David on 07 Aug, 2012 06:46 PM
In that case, I'd like a refund.
16 Posted by David on 07 Aug, 2012 06:50 PM
and if it's based on the ICS Launcher.. how come it's fine in the ICS Launcher but not the Sense one?
With the ICS Launcher it still has the margins and fits perfectly.
With the Sense launcher it has the margins and puts text on top of text.
Your argument is invalid.
17 Posted by Jorodan on 07 Aug, 2012 07:19 PM
My argument is valid, your knowledge about Android are incomplete.
http://developer.android.com/guide/practices/ui_guidelines/widget_d...
"Note: As of Android 4.0, app widgets are automatically given margins between the widget frame and the app widget's bounding box to provide better alignment with other widgets and icons on the user's home screen. To take advantage of this strongly recommended behavior, set your application's targetSdkVersion to 14 or greater."
We don't do refund after 24 hours.

so explain why it fits perfectly with the stock ICS launcher.

@David : I supposed you found the ICS Launcher on the Play Store, because it is not available in HTC devices.
And the launcher on the Play Store is not the real launcher.
@the others : just do a message with "# ignore"

it's available on any device if you know where to get it.
took it from a Galaxy Nexus ROM.

and are you aware that an Android is an open source OS?
I could easily enough get the source for the launcher and build it.
