When I try to register my account to the server, I get 'Server
not available.'
Am I doing something wrong, or are the servers really not
available?

Hi,
We have some troubles sometimes.
You need to be registered only for using http://market.beautiful-widgets.com
Try to connect on it, maybe the registration is done despite the message.

I'm getting the same thing. All morning. still shows no device registered. Very frustrated.

This same problem is happening to me. I have tried the site link. It only sends me back to the widget which then comes back with server not available. This needs to be looked into rather then the response given. To give a "maybe this is what happened" response is quite disrespectful to your customer base.

You don't need to register to the Web Skin Market to download skins in the application. It is needed just to use the website.

I apparently was not clear enough.
You can not download any skins from the widget without "registering an account" in the widget. This can not be done at this time due to constant "server not available" errors.
You DO need to register an account to use the skin market in the app. There is no way around this. When you enter the skin market from within the widget, it stops at choose a registered account. When you attempt to register, it gives the server not available error. Therefor you can not get new skins.
I hope that was clear enough for you to understand the issue that myself and the others in this thread are having.

I cant sign in it keep saying error connection or a problem with twitter.com then it says try again later & I keep trying it doesnt work still ... HELP !!

Hey Jorodan - maybe you're not getting it. We can't do anything from the widget or anywhere else due to the server not available message. If we can;'t register we don;tg show an active device, thus our issue. So instead of replying with virtually the same lame answer, get with someone and figure out the problem.

How do you download the skins you create if you CAN NOT connect to your server and register your device. You used to be 5 stars but I'm thinking maybe 1 star.

@Erik : I know the app because I am one of the developers. You can say there is a bug, but not to say what is mandatory if it is not.
@all And I can say, you can download all the skins without any registration. Just click on the weather icon on your widget, and click on the menu button (or plus section on the top right for ICS and after) and click on "Clock Skin" or "Weather skin".
Or, click on the app icon in your launcher. And go to the "skins" section of your widget.
No registration is needed.
The registration is needed only when you visit the website from your computer and send the skins by the cloud.
You can also go to the website without registration, generate the qrcode of your skin and scan it with your phone.
If you have "server unvailable", try with a strong connection like at home by wifi with your home internet connection. The mobile network can cause some errors, not handle in the application/

I want to first thank you for finally giving a work around for the server not available error in the Skins Market part of the widget.
However:
The registration is needed to use the skin market part of your app.
I use a wifi connection on my phone 99% of the time I use any form of internet capabilities on my phone. So that is not the issue.

here are still bugs in your app. That is painfully obvious. We can tell you are a dev and not a true CS rep. CS reps generally do not treat customers with such distain. Please look at the discussion I linked previously, you will see that another "CS" rep has already stated it is a known issue. Please don't try to continue to blame this on user error. We are just trying to use a portion of your app that is not currently working.

@Erik : when you talk about registration, do you understand this is only for the external website, accessible from a desktop, and not for the internal skins list ? If you understand that from the beginning :
- Ok I am sorry, I thought bad - but, you can nevertheless download skins in app ! And we do not succeed to reproduce the bug. It is not a big deal, and it is complicated to resolve. We have a lot most important features.
If you don't understand :
- try to understand, because I can do nothing for you until you understand that.

Hi all,
As i previously answered about that issue in another thread.
This will be fix in the future. For now, the developpers (Jorodan include) are working on a brand new version of Beautiful Widgets.
Thanks for your patience.
And don't worry too much about this issue. It can't prevent you to download skin on your smartphone.
