Hi there!

Since updating to Android 4.0.4 on my Razr Maxx, the temperature icon in the notification bar for BW has shrunk down and is useless since it's practically impossible to see. I know Google has some rules about the size and color and then had the OS force 40% opacity, but I also know there are workarounds for this problem. I love the app and would like to be able to glance at my phone to see the temperature without having to pull down the notification bar or unlock my homescreen. That is the point of having the icon right there at the top, right?

If you would like references to how bigger/brighter icons can be used, you can look at Battery Monitor by Sim2K (circled in the attached screenshot) or Battery Circle by Adrian Ulrich. I have seen other comments here about providing multiple colors, and I realize this adds to the app's size since each choice needs to be built into the app, so I am not asking for that (although it would be nice, especially an ICS Blue). I am only asking that you take a look at the aforementioned apps and how they bypass the new Google guidance on notification icons. If you need to, you could even reach out to Sim2K and I am sure he would share the "secret". :)
