Can't download Clock Skin

Just received a replacement phone (T-Mobile G2X). Reloaded everything but now I am not able to download a clock skin. weather skin downloaded but not clock. When I select a skin the message states downloaded but when I click on Installed Skins there is only the standard one. I have tried the troubleshooting method of forcing stop, clearing cache, reinstalling all to no avail.

    understand that it shouldn't place over 600 skins in my photo gallery. It's
    just a scam that you're running, taking people's money for Crap. If you can
    live with it, so can I. Take my money that I paid for the Crap and purchase
    you a Happy Meal. I hope you enjoy it while you're sitting there thinking
    about how you scammed everyone that paid for for it. People like you should
    be put Under a jail. Out and out theft! If you'd have needed the five
    dollars or whatever, I'd have gladly sent it to you although I have to make
    it on disability income. I'd Never steal for Anything.

    To avoid preview images to be seen in the Gallery, a ".nomedia" file should have been automatically created in all the directories containing images.
    If you encounter this issue, follow these steps :
    - Download this free app : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rhmsoft.fm
    - Open it - Go to SDCard/data/beautifulwidgets/[anything but cache]/[any skin] - Long press the .nomedia file > copy - Go back to sdcard/data/beautifulwidgets/cache - Hit paste - Wait the gallery refreshes.

    We will correct this issue in the next release that will come soon.

    @Richard : no problem. We all have moment when we are upset. @Andy : try to delete the cache of the gallery (in your Android settings > applications > Gallery).

    Hi,
    I have the samsung galaxy s epic 4g (original) from sprint. I've had your product about a year and a half now. after doing a hard reset to my phone, as well as formatting my sd card (too many things to erase individually that I no longer wanted), I reinstalled bw as well as bw animations. I've been successful at dl'ing SOME of my skins. I tried everything from deleting skins that I dl'ed from the installed skins list to uninstall/reinstall bw, checking my gallery/pictures under my files, clearing cache from it. I eventually found the skins(all of however many there are to choose from) as well as all if the weather skins under a data folder under my files.I cleared their cache, etc. I again uninstalled bw, powered off phone, pulled battery then reinstalled bw. I've tried all the basics I could think of. But I'm still having the same problem for both clock & weather skins. I even tried dl'ing only the one I want the most before dl'ing any others. Same problems. Only some will dl. Completely random. never had this problem before. I don't have a way to send a screen shot, however, I did dl the alog thing and will be including that as an attachment in this email. Thank you.

    I sure hate to give up BW but I change the look on my RAZR too often not to have a nice looking clock/weather widget on each of my home screens. (and that's what I'm giving up with BW, beautiful skins.
    I've already wasted money and time on HD Widgets which, in my opinion, doesn't offer much. I bought Fancy Widgets and it looks very good, from what limited time I've had to spend there. It's Very similar to BW. Some of the skins look identical.
    Ir doesn't look as if BW's ever going to be updated to meet our needs so I'm moving on to FW.

    Richard, I'm sorry to hear you are having so many problems. For me, I've been a long standing customer. I've only had one problem once before and they were able to help me. I don't intend to move on nor to bash the makers of bw. While I can't "immediately"get all of the skins I want, there are still others I can use for now. I'm ok with that because I have the patience and flexibility.I'm sorry to hear you had to move on; but if that's the case, then why are you still commenting on this thread? I already read your comments from march, they had no effect on me to want to change apps.to each his own; move on with your fw, no need to deter or try to sway others. and stop being so angry over something so simple as a customizable decorative app.
    While I appreciate your concerning opinion, I choose to stay with bw. I will no longer entertain a conversation with your negative comments.
    Thank you & best of luck with other apps.
    (By the way, its all technology, it all has tendencies to crash once in awhile & sometimes it takes a litte longer to fix then a simple push of a button. I bet you're one of the 1st ones to complain if your electricity is out for more than an hour after a NATIONAL DISASTER, expecting it be imediately restored just for you. Besides, if you think its so easy, make your own app.)

    Hi,

    About the Skins problems, our developpers are aware of that and they are working on it.

    It seems that there's issues with some skins but (hopefully) not all of them. When you are experiencing this issue, please tell us the skin's name.

    You can also try download them using Skin Market (http://market.beautiful-widgets.com/). Some users manage to download some skins by this way.
